Crimes Overview
Florida has a murder rate below the national average, along with lower rates of rape, assault, and robbery. There are no reported kidnapping or blackmail crimes. However, burglary and theft rates are higher than the national average.
Vandalism is not a significant concern, and motor vehicle theft is lower. The state has no reported incidents of identity theft, weapon law violations, or significant drug offenses.
