About Virginia

Virginia, often referred to as the “Old Dominion” and the “Mother of Presidents,” is a state steeped in history, natural beauty, and modern vitality. Located in the southeastern region of the United States, Virginia offers a diverse range of experiences, from exploring historical sites to enjoying scenic landscapes and cultural attractions.

Virginia is at the heart of American history. It is home to Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in North America, and Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum. The state’s capital, Richmond, played a central role in the American Civil War.
