Vermont has significantly lower crime rates compared to the national averages, with notably low rates of murder, assault, robbery, and kidnapping.
The state also experiences lower rates of burglary, arson, vandalism, and theft. Drug offenses and weapon law violations are not significant concerns in Vermont, with rates below the national average.
